Mercury Free Systems

National Urethane Industries (Pty) Ltd has formulated away from all Mercury Grade Catalysts for all our CASE (Coatings, Adhesives Sealants and Elastomers) systems with immediate effect.  All our systems will display a “Mercury Free” sticker.

Some of these changes have been subtle however some have been dramatic with regards to product mixing ratio, pot life, gel time, demould time and processing parameters.  All products with a * behind the code have been effected in one way or the other and the codes with no * have always been “Mercury Free” .

The following product codes have changed with immediate effect:
Ultracast 250 – 235T / Ultracure 600D / Ultrathane 500-235M
                                    Has changed to:
Ultracast 250-235D* / Ultracure 600D / Ultrathane 500-235M

                                                And

Ultracast 250-235T / Ultracure 600S235 / Ultrathane 500-235M
                                    Has changed to:
Ultracast 250-235S* / Ultracure 600S235 / Ultrathane 500-235M

NB:  There is two different Polyols for two different cross linkers.  Please also note that if you see a * behind the code please enquire with your Technical Sales Representative for assistance.
